Peony roses have recently become increasingly popular in the floristic market. And this is not surprising, because they are impressive at first sight: large, voluminous, full buds, combined with the fragrance and sweetness of the aroma, cannot leave anyone indifferent. But peony roses have another secret - they are very “universal”. Simply put, a bouquet made from them will be a wonderful gift for any occasion - from a romantic date to a birthday, anniversary or professional celebration. This “versatility” is ensured by the variety of varieties, shades and shapes. And, of course, they are given to beloved women and for absolutely no reason.
Varieties and colors Peony roses are incredibly diverse. Today on the florist market you can find bouquets composed of plants of any color and size - from tiny bushes to huge ones, the bud of which barely fits in the palm of your hand; from soft white to intense red, from pastel peach to mysterious green. The most popular varieties of peony roses are:
Tranquility. Snow-white buds of medium size. It is easy to distinguish not only by color, but also by aroma with tones of sweet apple.
Huntington Rose (“Huntington Rose”). The buds are medium in size with a deep pink center and light pink edges. The aroma is sweet and enveloping.
Darcey Bussell (“Darcey Bussell”). Compact buds of crimson color, very numerous. Subtle, refined aroma.
Dame Judi Dench. The buds are medium in size with an unusual shape - they seem to be a little disheveled and sloppy. The color is peach, the aroma is sweet, but not too intense.
Vuvuzela (“Vuvuzela”). The buds are medium-sized, yellow in the center, intense pink at the edges. Subtle and delicate, almost imperceptible aroma, which makes these roses a suitable gift even for people with allergies to flowers.
Red Piano (“Red Piano”). The name speaks for itself - an intense rich red color. The buds are large, up to 12 cm in diameter, spherical in shape. Sweet pleasant aroma.
Of course, these are not all varieties and colors. Roses are incredibly diverse: in our catalog you will find plants with buds of soft pink, peach, bright yellow, purple and even greenish shades, as well as gradient colors.
Design A bouquet of peony-shaped, voluminous and impressive buds is usually not complemented by other plants. Mono compositions look incredibly impressive and perfectly demonstrate your feelings - from respect to love and passion, depending on the chosen shade. In addition, the rose is a real queen of flowers, without exaggeration or pretentious phrases: it dominates the bouquet. In some cases, the composition is complemented by non-flowering floristic plants - for example, intense green grasses with smooth petals. Against this background, the buds look especially impressive, and their natural color is emphasized. The classic option for decorating a bouquet of such plants is plain film, organza, craft paper or artificial mesh. Their main advantage lies in their brevity. Nothing should distract attention; the rose dominates the composition. Today, compositions in boxes are also common. For example, round hats made of cardboard, or neat wooden boxes. Rose also feels great with this decor, so the bouquet looks bright, impressive and modern. This design has one more advantage: it is simple and concise, so such compositions are often given as gifts to friends, colleagues, managers, and are also used in business floristry.
How to choose the right composition? Advice from florists These flowers are very versatile, so you shouldn’t think about who you should give them to. A large and beautiful bouquet is suitable as a gift for your beloved woman, mother, sister, colleague, boss, teacher or anyone else. But the shades are not so universal. If peach, light pink, bright yellow or purple do not carry hidden meanings, then intense red or snow-white “hint” about your feelings. If you don’t want to get into an awkward situation, give a neat bouquet made of flowers in neutral shades. These plants are also characterized by longevity. Even ordinary compositions can last in a vase for up to 2-3 weeks with proper care. However, some of the most durable are compositions in boxes and drawers: they are installed on a special floral material soaked in a nutrient mixture. When choosing, you should beware of “long” compositions with plants on a meter-long stem. Of course, they look very impressive. But they are not as practical and durable as the standard ones, with a length of 40–50 cm. You should also refrain from buying compositions with painted or glitter-strewn buds. They are also not very durable - the plant breathes through the petals, and the applied layer of toner can ruin the life of the flower. That's why self-respecting florists don't paint flowers.
